Don't tell me there's no global warming.

I'm doing spring cleaning stuff (raking dead leaves, etc.) today. Any other year, I'd be happy if I could do this on March 7 (I live in Chicago, after all).

But doing it on January 7 tells me something is wrong. I hate winters, and I'll be glad if this one is mild, but on the flipside I don't want 120 degrees in July to become the norm. Especially living in a brick house with no central air.

One of Michael Moore's books pointed out that, although we like warm days in the middle of winter, it's about as natural as the sun rising in the west. So although the warm weather today is nice, I'm not going to revel in it.
